Tskaltubo — Radon-Carbonic Baths
Europe’s best-kept balneotherapy secret — 70–85% more affordable than Western Europe
Why Tskaltubo?
Tskaltubo is a small resort town in western Georgia, famous since Soviet times for its unique radon-carbonic mineral springs. The water emerges at a natural temperature of 33–35°C — comfortable for direct bathing without heating or cooling. Unlike conventional balneotherapy resorts, Tskaltubo springs contain a rare combination of radon and carbon dioxide dissolved in calcium-rich mineral water.
The therapeutic range covers musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, skin diseases, gynaecological issues, and cardiovascular rehabilitation. The typical treatment course is 10–14 days, with 15–20 procedures per stay.
